Sophie Labossière

Sophie Labossière holds a doctorate in psychoeducation from the Université de Sherbrooke. She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Foundations and Practices (Université Laval). Her research interests focus on the prevention of psychosocial adjustment difficulties among young people who participate in organized sports, as well as interpersonal violence in sports contexts. Among her achievements, she co-created the “sportez-vous bien!” program, which has been implemented in several schools in Quebec and aims to raise awareness about mental health among young athletes, coaches and sporting staff.
