Alexandro Allison Abaunza

Alexandro Allison-Abaunza (Ph. D.), focuses his research on socioeconomic accessibility within the organized sports landscape in Quebec. His work delves into the various processes of inclusion and exclusion in competitive sports, educational inequalities, and solutions aimed at enhancing access to sports participation. Simultaneously, he is interested in public policies related to sports, particularly those concerning the professionalization of coaches and the development of sports systems. As a former high-level athlete in the 110m hurdles, he now mentors university athletes within the Rouge et Or Track and Field Club.
