Sophie Labossière

Sophie Labossière holds a doctorate in psychoeducation from the Université de Sherbrooke. As part of her master’s and doctoral studies, she focused on the mechanisms involved in the development of mental health symptoms frequently experienced by university student-athletes. Also a psychoeducator and student member of the Canadian Association of Sport Psychology, Sophie works with student-athletes to support their mental preparation and psychosocial adaptation. She is doing a postdoctoral internship at Université Laval under the supervision of Professors Sylvie Parent and Julie Lane. She is interested in preventing violence and the development of mental health problems in athletes.
