Dr. Tine Vertommen is a Belgian criminologist and holds a PhD in Health Sciences. She heads the Forensic Psychology research unit at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences (Belgium) and is an affiliated researcher at the Social Epidemiology and Health Policy institute at the University of Antwerp. Her research focusses on the prevention of harassment and abuse in sport. Tine coordinates the International Research Network on Violence and Integrity in Sport (IRNOVIS), is member of the Council of Safe Sport expert pool and works as a consultant to the IOC Safe Sport unit.
